About the Company

Bush Brothers is a fifth-generation family-run meat purveyor based in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, established in 1925. We specialize in center-of-the-plate and portion-controlled offerings for Florida’s high-end Hotel, Restaurant, and Country Club clientele. Our USDA-inspected processing plant handles Beef, Veal, Lamb, Pork, Poultry, and Provisions, distributing throughout South and Central Florida and the Caribbean. In January 2025, we moved into a new 48,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, tripling our production and storage capacity. We foster a service-oriented culture, viewing customers and employees as long-term partners.

Responsibilities

• Pack high-quality portion-controlled meats for the foodservice industry.
• Pack steaks, roasts, and chops to company and industry standards.
• Follow daily instructions for stock production, special orders, and custom cuts.
• Participate in daily setup and sanitation of processing spaces.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and health/sanitation regulations.
• Perform quality and safety duties, including receiving, inspecting, and storing products to ensure quality.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and equipment operation procedures while tracking product dates and rotation.
• Adhere to USDA guidelines.

Requirements

• No prior experience required in foodservice processing, retail butchery, or culinary roles.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of different meat cuts, their characteristics, and best uses is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 80 lbs.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and food safety regulations.

Schedule

Monday to Saturday, 5 am to 2 pm. During season, hours shift to 4 am to 2 pm.

Work Conditions

• Primarily work in a cooler environment with temperatures as low as 30°F.
• May require handling sharp tools and operating machinery.
• Fast-paced setting with strict deadlines.
