Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack fasteners for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
• Accurately fulfill orders and perform quality control checks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Set up robot and palletizer equipment
• Configure equipment to specific job requirements
• Safely operate mobile equipment in the facility
• Perform quality checks before packing product
• Read bin cards to correctly process products
• Set up scales for accurate counting of product
• Scan bin cards to transfer information in the computer system
• Ensure labels are correctly printed and placed on cartons
• Follow instructions and processes according to specific requirements
• Place correct pallets at the end of the pack lines, meeting both domestic and export requirements
• Check first and last box of each job to ensure correct parts are packed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
• Ability to use proper tools
• Ability to operate mobile equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Packaging experience in a distribution center environment is a plus

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a distribution center environment
• Standing for long periods of time is required
• Occasional lifting of up to 50+ pounds
• Willingness and availability to work overtime as needed
