Packaging Working Lead 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operation of packaging equipment, including labeler, tape machine, printer, bulk sealer, rapid pack, box maker, metal detector, brine racks, and computers.
• Operation of conveyor belts and delivery of product to the RPs.
• Operation of Metal Detectors and documentation.
• Loading and changing rolls.
• Accurately completes required paperwork on a daily basis.
• Track, record, and minimize materials usage.
• Track and record dept downtime.
• Understand and perform cip / clean up as needed.
• Cookbook breaks, lunches and position assignments for packaging team.
• Work with maintenance to maintain and troubleshoot problems.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure is critical to this position.
• Track case count per customer order.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, and be productive in high pressure, fast paced situations.
• Communicates daily issues to Supervisor.
• Motivates team to achieve team goals.
