Packaging Technician -Weekends 12 hr shifts

Position SummaryRoyal Oak is looking for a Packaging Technician D. This position is responsible for the operation of the machines required to package charcoal briquets. Packaging technicians are able to operate one of the following pieces of equipment; Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline.Position Requirements/Qualifications:LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hirePhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Able to operate equipment at standard run ratesAble to identify critical elements on each machineAble to perform basic corrective actionsAble to perform a change over w/ assistanceMaintain a clean work areaIdentify quality issuesMay involve repetitive movementsLifting up to 60 lbs.Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessaryDue to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
