About the role
This Packaging Technician ("Liquid Mixer") position is for 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday – Thursday at the Challenger Plant. Pay increases as you advance in our Proficiency Program every 4-6 months, with new increased wages and shift differentials for 2026.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor assigned machine(s) to detect product defects.
- Perform job duties within established quality control guidelines of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Complete all job-related documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness of work space, equipment, and materials at all times.
- Perform cleaning duties of workspace to maintain sanitary conditions before, during, and after a job is introduced into the area.
- Produce finished goods that are defect-free and meet packaging specifications.
- Continuously work toward improving quality in all operations.
- Maintain high sanitary standards throughout preparation, set-up, and operation of designated jobs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in mixing and verifying ingredients.
Schedule
2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday – Thursday.
