About the role

Our pharmaceutical manufacturing team relies on agile members who understand the critical impact of their role in Pfizer’s mission. You will play a vital part in ensuring patients and physicians have timely access to the medicines they need.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product finishing scheduling, set up, operate, maintain, and adjust processes or packaging equipment.
  • Maximize quality and efficiency, complete batch records and associated documentation, and work in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment, providing feedback on issues and errors with Good Manufacturing Practices documentation.
  • Develop skills in team effectiveness and communication, contributing to team goals.
  • Manage personal time and professional development, being accountable for results.
  • Execute routine tasks by following prescribed steps within agreed timeframes.
  • Identify and address issues in routine processes.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of work processes and business within your area.
  • Solve routine problems using skills and knowledge, seeking help when needed.
  • Complete assignments under close supervision, adhering to guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure work is reviewed for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with any years of experience
  • Strong foundation in manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in math and reading skills for comprehending Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Batch Records
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Evidence of strong team interaction and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Applications

Bonus points if you have

  • Knowledge of GMP's and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry
  • Technical skills in operating and maintaining packaging equipment
  • Problem-solving skills in a structured environment
  • Ability to work under close supervision and follow established guidelines

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Considerable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 42 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination is required.
  • This position requires the manual packaging of products.
  • Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel or Environment Requirements: Positions can be staffed across all three shifts based on business needs. Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs.

Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $17.04 to $28.40 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
