Packaging Technician - Feeder - Line 204 - 2nd Shift (PART TIME)

About the role

The Packaging Technician – Feeder performs multiple functions within the packaging area, taking unwrapped product off the conveyor belt, feeding it into a track that wraps it into individual packages, and then packaging the wrapped cakes into cartons.

Responsibilities

• Remove unwrapped product from the conveyor belt.
• Feed product into the wrapping machine track.
• Ensure products are individually wrapped correctly.
• Package wrapped cakes into cartons.
• Maintain quality and food‑safety standards throughout the process.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks and functions as needed.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good overall work, attendance, and safety record.
• Commitment to meeting quality food‑safety standards and following proper safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and train.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lb and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lb.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Packaging Technician – Feeder experience.

Pay

$20.42 – $21.55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd‑shift hours.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Other days and hours as needed.)
