Packaging Operator III - 2nd Shift
About the role
The Packaging Operator III is responsible for safely operating the packaging equipment to package in process products in accordance with packaging orders, while following SOPs and Maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance during operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Product/ Outserts/Label is as per product specification in the batch record.
- Check proper setting and operation of all the packaging equipment.
- Ensure the bottled product count is as per batch record.
- Printing of the proper shipper case label for packaged product.
- Checking bulk and packaging components before start and entry in the packaging room.
- Follow up on Amneal Packaging CAPA and challenge test verification.
- Perform in-process checks during packaging operation.
- Responsible for proper data entry in all packaging use log book.
- Maintains equipment performance.
- Checks the entries of log book usage after each batch.
- Performs batch record completion 100% accurate, online and provides to Q.A. on time.
- Identifies status label of packaging components and room during process.
Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED HS Curriculum/ GED - Preferred
- Experience: With HS/GED - 5 yrs experience in Pharmaceuticals Packaging
- Less than HS/GED - 6 yrs experience in Pharmaceuticals Packaging
Skills
- Required to read, write, and communicate in English.
- IntermediateHigh school level math and mechanical skills.
- IntermediateFlexible to work extended hours and weekends when required.
- IntermediateAbility to work as part of a team.
- IntermediateAttention to detail and accuracy.
Specialized Knowledge
- Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP
- Excellent Knowledge of Optel Vision System, Label Vision System, Track & Trace System.
Pay
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $19.50 to $21.50 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
Schedule
This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
