Responsibilities
- Pack beer in accordance with Hopworks packaging procedures.
- Complete shift paperwork as outlined in Hopworks' procedures.
- Communicate order fulfillment status to appropriate department leaders.
- Report any mechanical or material issues to the department manager.
- Troubleshoot machinery during operation and make necessary adjustments to equipment.
- Rotate positions willingly and with others in mind.
- Help maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to multitask without sacrificing quality.
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to working while standing for duration of shift, frequently lifting & carrying heavy materials approx. 55lbs up to shoulder high, frequently climbing ladder over 10 feet, and performing job while standing on a ladder.
- Organization, time management, and communication skills to help the team manage stress and workload.
- Experience and proficiency in packing line operations.
- 1-2 years' experience operating an open filler such as a PSA CB100FS.
- Solid knowledge of safe chemical handling, safe work operations, safety policies and procedures, and proven ability to adhere to strict workplace safety rules and regulations.
- Prior forklift operating experience.
