Packaging Operator-2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 2p-12a)

About the role

The Packaging Operator is responsible for all basic level shipping tasks in the shipping department, including processing, packaging, and palletizing shipments to customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the packaging areas by processing skid orders, full-length orders, and small package orders.
• Package small parts boxes.
• Palletize or band panels and operate packaging equipment in all areas of shipping.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Embodies the 80/20 attitude in all aspects of work.
• Prior experience with packing products in a fast-paced environment (retail, service industry, etc.).
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to stand, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift 40 lbs. continuously for a 10- or 12-hour workday.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience packing and preparing products for shipment in a production/manufacturing environment or similar experience in a retail or service industry.
