About the role

Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness. This role requires strict adherence to GMP principles at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks designated by the Line Foreman.
• Properly operate checkweigher, metal detectors, and X-Ray machines.
• Understand machine functionality and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Complete all required line paperwork with assistance from Foreman, Supervisor, and Quality Tech.
• Ensure machinery is clean and inspect all equipment before and after product runs.
• Communicate clearly with Production leadership and other departments.
• Follow all SOPs and SSOPs and set an example for all employees.
• Train new and current employees on equipment with Foreman and Supervisor oversight.
• Must be proficient in operating the following equipment: Filler, Sealer, End of Line, Stacker, Scanner, Mixer/Oil Operator, SSK Filler, SSK Unloader, Cartoners, Case Erectors, Wrappers, Baggers, Enrobers, Batching Equipment, and Hilo operation.
• Remain flexible with schedule and available as needed.
• Perform any other work deemed necessary by Foreman or Supervisor.
