Packaging Operator - 1st/2nd Shift Only

Essential Functions

• Successfully perform the duties and responsibilities listed above.
• Work flexible schedules and be available for weekends and holidays.
• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot machines.
• Monitor and assist with equipment upstream/downstream.
• Maintain packaging schedule, quality control, and sanitation procedures.
• Clean machines and work area during and after production runs/changeovers.
• Follow plant safety, GMP, and allergen procedures.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Immediately report all food safety and quality issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with others and share knowledge, skills, and information.
• Enhance technical and functional competencies, and engage in professional and leadership development.
• Communicate with others and management, understand FDA guidelines, and company policies.
• Manage performance data and communicate exceptions.

Qualifications and Education

• No educational background required.
• Must have experience operating and maintaining machines to ensure efficient production line operation.
• Preferred skills include communication, understanding FDA guidelines, and bilingual proficiency.
