Packaging Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Utilize packaging machines in accordance with Food Safety guidelines.
• Cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment to company standards.
• Forming boxes and packaging final product.
• Operating pallet jacks and other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Reliable regular attendance is required.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a results-oriented mindset.
• Works well in a team environment and has a proactive "can-do" mentality.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
• No degree required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Must be able to work safely and in a team environment.

Pay

Rate of Pay: Up to $26.79 per hour ($25.29 plus $1.50 per hour certification pay) based on experience.

Shift premium of $0.50 per hour for working on second shift and $1.00 per hour for third shift.

$2,000 sign on bonus, paid in the first year, based on good employment standing for 3rd shift full time positions.

Schedule

Work week offers a guaranteed 40 hours. Mandatory overtime is expected and weekend work is likely.

Overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturday and double time paid on Sundays.
