Packaging Engineer (50730)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and design solutions for packaging Haas machines and accessories for shipping.
• Follow direction of the management team to ensure proper design protocols and procedures are followed.
• Effectively communicate reasoning behind design decisions.
• Remain up to date on new packaging trends, materials, and technology.
• Create, administer, and implement Engineering Change Requests.
• Maintain a task schedule and hold deadlines.
• Take full ownership of assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering, industrial design, or related field. Must understand the entire design process from concept, prototype, testing, and production.
• Desired Qualifications: 1 to 3 years’ experience in the design of packaging for national and international shipping.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred Major: Industrial Engineering, Packaging Science, Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum Years Of Experience: 0-1 year.
