San Jose, CA | Dallas, TX | Atlanta, GA | Chicago, IL Nefab is growing, and we're looking for talented Packaging Designers, Packaging Engineers, and Senior Packaging Engineers to grow with us. At Nefab, packaging engineering goes beyond creating drawings. You'll join a global engineering community, developing custom packaging solutions for some of the world's leading companies and collaborating across our network of Nefab Engineering Centers and test labs. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple materials and technologies and see your solutions move from concept → design → prototype → testing → production → customer implementation. What You'll Do Depending on your experience and level, you will: Design innovative packaging solutions using wood, corrugated, foam, plastics, steel, and other engineered materials, supported by CAD and 3D modeling.Solve complex customer challenges, balancing product protection, transportation, manufacturability, sustainability, and cost.Collaborate directly with customers and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions.Take projects from concept through implementation, including design, prototyping, testing, engineering changes, and production support.Drive innovation and improvement, developing smarter solutions that improve packaging performance and reduce total cost and environmental impact. Who we're looking for We're hiring at multiple experience levels, from developing designers and engineers through experienced senior packaging professionals. We're particularly interested in candidates with: Education or experience in Engineering, Packaging, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.Experience with CAD/3D modeling such as SolidWorks, IronCAD, or similar software.Experience with wood, corrugated, foam, plastics, steel, protective packaging and moulded pulp.Strong problem-solving, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills.A desire to learn, innovate, and grow your technical expertise.
