Packaging Designer – Home & Pet Products

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging for boxes (retail + PDQ/display), hang tags, belly bands, inserts, and header cards.
• Create dielines from scratch (no templates).
• Understand product dimensions, folding structures, and material constraints.
• Ensure packaging is production-ready before factory sampling.
• Work directly with overseas factories (primarily China) to communicate daily and resolve dieline and packaging issues.
• Review factory files, mockups, and pre-production samples to ensure accuracy before samples are shipped to the U.S.
• Prepare print-ready files for mass production, including color accuracy (CMYK/Pantone), bleeds, trims, safety margins, material callouts, and finishes (matte, gloss, foil, emboss, etc.).
• Manage multiple SKUs simultaneously with fast turnaround times.
• Collaborate with internal teams on branding, product development, and timelines.
