Packaging Designer [Contract]
About the role
Melissa Doug is seeking a part-time contract Packaging Designer to support various projects.
Responsibilities
- Create packaging design concepts aligned with brand strategy.
- Develop final artwork and ensure the accuracy of production deliverables, including packaging and instructions.
- Manage project timelines and adhere to established approval procedures and protocols.
- Maintain high standards of quality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Communicate project progress, issues, or concerns promptly and professionally to the Art Director.
- Collaborate with Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control, Product Development teams, and overseas agents as needed during the package development and approval process.
Requirements
- Experience in the consumer products industry, particularly in toy package design.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Enhanced creative and technical skills, including conceptual drawing and manual illustration.
