Packaging Designer – Consumer Packaged Goods

Responsibilities

• Design retail packaging artwork for consumer products
• Create packaging concepts, dielines, and production-ready files
• Create 3D packaging mockups using Blender or similar software
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and packaging specifications
• Manage packaging projects from concept through production
• Cook up coordination with printers and packaging vendors
• Attend press checks and packaging production trials (approximately once per month)
• Ensure compliance with brand, regulatory, and print standards
• Identify packaging improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Sustain innovative packaging solutions through collaboration
• Support sustainability initiatives

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Packaging Design experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
• Experience designing packaging for retail products (Food & Beverage preferred)
• Strong proficiency with: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience creating 3D packaging mockups using Blender or similar software
• Strong understanding of: Packaging materials, Print production, Dielines, Packaging structures, Commercial printing processes
• Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
