Packaging Compliance & Regulatory Manager

Qualifications: we have Qualification Requirements: Required ... Preferred ... Also Supervisory Responsibility None (maybe not needed). Also Working Conditions/Environment: we could put under "Requirements"? Actually "Requirements" heading could contain qualifications? The instruction: Use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we have separate headings for Requirements and Qualifications. Likely Requirements = mandatory qualifications; Qualifications = preferred? Or we could put required under Requirements, preferred under Qualifications. Also Skills could be extracted from qualifications: analytical, problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, ability to influence.
We have no explicit Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we should NOT include those sections.
We also have Working Conditions/Environment: could be part of "Requirements"? Not exactly. Could be its own section? Not in list of allowed headings. The allowed headings are limited to those; we should not create other headings. So we might incorporate working conditions into Requirements or Qualifications? Probably under Requirements as part of job conditions. But the instruction: "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., implying those are examples, but we should only use those headings if we have content. It doesn't forbid other headings, but says "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect only those headings. So we should map content to those headings. Thus: - About the role: overview paragraph. - Responsibilities: list. - Requirements: mandatory qualifications (Bachelor's degree, 8+ years experience, knowledge, experience interpreting, experience analyzing data, strong analytical etc). Also maybe supervisory responsibility none? Not needed. - Qualifications: preferred qualifications (advanced degree, global experience, knowledge of frameworks, experience with systems). Also maybe skills? But we have Skills heading separate. - Skills: we can list analytical, problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, ability to influence without authority. We must not repeat job title. No Job ID. We must preserve all substantive information. So include details like "Lead cross-functional team in the management of the Regulatory Taskforce program within Marzetti which tracks efforts to assure compliance with regulations for the organization." That's a responsibility. Also include "Develop methods for pulling data from current systems, analyze packaging data, and partner with IT to ensure accuracy of data for reporting." etc. Also include "Develop models to assess regulatory impacts, including packaging usage and fee-based requirements." Also include "Support compliance with packaging sustainability requirements, including EPR, recycled content, recyclability, packaging waste, and end-of-life labeling." Also include "Monitor emerging packaging regulations and translate changes into actionable business guidance, implementation plans, and compliance roadmaps." Also include "Establish and maintain packaging compliance documentation, including supplier declarations, specifications, test reports, and other regulatory evidence." Also include "Assess regulatory risks and develop practical recommendations and mitigation strategies that enable compliant innovation." Also include "Partner with Packaging R&D and cross-functional teams to integrate regulatory requirements into innovation, commercialization, cost-savings, sustainability, and supplier-change initiatives, including providing regulatory review and approval through applicable stage-gate and change-control processes." Also include "Interpret and apply food-contact, chemical, sustainability, labeling, and packaging end-of-life requirements across applicable markets." Also include "Lead regulatory compliance assessments for packaging materials, components, suppliers, and packaging changes." Also include "Partner with Procurement, suppliers, laboratories, consultants, and other external resources to address regulatory requirements and documentation needs." Also include "Lead cross-functional discussions, provide training and guidance, and communicate regulatory risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders." Also include "Lead cross-functional team in the management of the Regulatory Taskforce program within Marzetti which tracks efforts to assure compliance with regulations for the organization." Now Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Regulatory Science, or a related scientific or technical field. 8+ years of relevant experience in packaging regulatory affairs, food-contact materials, packaging development, quality, compliance, or a related field within food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or another regulated industry. Knowledge of packaging materials, food-contact requirements, and packaging sustainability/environmental regulations. Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and reviewing technical and supplier compliance documentation. Experience analyzing large data sets, validating data accuracy, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across functions without direct authority. Preferred: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific, technical, or regulatory field. Experience supporting global or multi-market packaging portfolios. Knowledge of U.S., Canadian, European, and/or other international food-contact regulatory frameworks. Experience with packaging compliance, product lifecycle management, or regulatory information systems. Supervisory Responsibility None (maybe not needed). Working Conditions/Environment: Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in the office is quiet. Occasional travel to plants or meetings is required. We could incorporate working conditions into Requirements? But it's not a qualification. Could be part of Requirements? Might be okay to include under Requirements as "Working Conditions". But the heading "Requirements" is ambiguous; we could put both mandatory qualifications and working conditions under Requirements. However the instruction says "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't forbid mixing. But better to keep Requirements for mandatory qualifications and maybe working conditions. However we have also Skills heading; we could put skills there. Thus: - About the role: overview paragraph. - Responsibilities: ul. - Requirements: mandatory qualifications + working conditions? Could separate but we only have one Requirements heading. We'll include both. - Qualifications: preferred qualifications. - Skills: list of skills (analytical, problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, ability to influence without authority). Might also include "data analysis" but that's covered. We must not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all specifics. Let's craft HTML. We'll output:
