Packaging - Biotrack Tech

About the role

The Biotrack Tech works with all departments to ensure that tagging, logging, and tracking of marijuana products are recorded and entered into the Biotrack system (Seed to Sale Tracking System) accurately.

Responsibilities

• Tags and/or labels all cannabis materials accurately.
• Responsible for interdepartmental transfers of cannabis product.
• Conducts inventory cycle counts in a processing, manufacturing, and/or distribution setting.
• Creates and manifests QA test samples for cannabis product.
• Affords assistance in the tracking process of cannabis destruction with all applicable departments.
• This includes the tracking, weighing, and logging of all disposed of cannabis material throughout the production cycle.
• Affords assistance in the data collection and logging of all movement of cannabis flower and processed material.
• Affords assistance with general upkeep of all materials related to Biotrack.
• Utilizes Excel spreadsheets daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age, be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge, and pass a background check.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.
• Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a licensed cannabis production facility preferred.

Skills

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
• The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
• The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
• The ability to complete fine motor functions.
• The ability to work in low light situations.
• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
• Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
