Packaging Associate II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Packs quality product into boxes for shipment.
• Checks finished product for quality issues as it comes off the conveyor.
• Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into sleeves & boxes (0 to less than 5 pounds).
• Grinds scrap material out of sleeves (0 to less than 5 pounds).
• Hand tapes or sends boxed product to the “tape machine”.
• Keeps the work area clean.
• BUILDS AND LABELS BOXES AS NEEDED.
• GRINDS POOR QUALITY PRODUCT.
• RE-PACKS PRODUCT AS NEEDED.
• CLEANS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF MACHINERY.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
