About the role

At AMSOIL, Packaging Associates play a critical role in ensuring our products are accurately packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment so customers receive the premium quality they expect. By safely operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient production processes, Packaging Associates help keep operations running smoothly while contributing directly to customer satisfaction and AMSOIL’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of finished goods.
  • Report to customer service manager or production supervisor when quantities are low on finished goods and stock.
  • Fill work orders from bulk storage to packaged goods in appropriate packaging.
  • Fill pick tickets from stock.
  • Print appropriate labels with correct part number, size, and batch.
  • Prepare materials for shipment in appropriate boxes/containers.
  • Operate tube sealer, 3 roll mill, tube fillers, cartridge filler, drum pumps, and forklift.
  • Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled with appropriate label for package and that all numbers are maintained through process.
  • Ensure that all work orders and pick tickets are filled out properly and signed.
  • Organize and monitor all packaging materials.
  • Report to customer service manager or production manager when quantities are low on packaging supplies.
  • Check all shipments against purchase orders, package box, and place shipping label/documents on box/skid.
  • Prepare shipments for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and trucking.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe manner complying with all safety standards, including lock out/tag out.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a warehouse/distribution center.
  • Prior experience operating packaging equipment a plus, but not required.
  • Forklift certification.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.
