Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling and packaging products and monitoring the quality of the product
Manufacturing/production/warehouse experience desired. Previous packaging experience and experience working on a production floor are pluses.
Requirements
Education/Experience
- Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add and subtract 4-digit numbers
Mechanical Skills
- Basic knowledge of machinery or process required
- May be required to stop the machine, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartons
Communication Skills
- Must be able to read, write & understand basic English
- Able to communicate effectively, positively interact with coworkers and management, and deal effectively & professionally under pressure
Reasoning Ability
- The job requires the use of established guidelines that are well defined or detailed with little or no choice of action
- Must make decisions regarding product quality and acceptability
Pay
Competitive starting pay rate of $18.18 per hour, paid weekly. Eligible for a monthly bonus based on plant productivity. Additional earnings available through a referral program for friends and family.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
Rotation schedule with rotating days off.
