Packaging Associate - 1st Shift

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Count and scan finished items into inventory.
• Package securely and label all items produced by finishing.
• Provide backup for the Finishing team in the following areas:
  • Assume Finishing team member role in their absence or when workload requires.
  • Ensure quality in the items finishers produce by performing quality checks.
  • Communicate any problems or potential problems to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Work with the Production Supervisor or the finishing schedule to meet customers' needs.
• Communicate with office staff as a team, and with respect.
• Support the Warehouse team as needed in the following areas:
  • Accurately deliver finished materials into specific warehouse inventory locations.
  • Deliver finished goods to Shipping.
  • Prepare items for shipment as needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the packaging area.
  • Ensure consumable items used in finishing are stocked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent desired.
• No experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
