REPORTS TO: Bakery Manager

This position is a variable hour position located in Oxford, MS. Hours are Monday – Friday, 7a – 4p but may vary to meet business needs on occasion.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Wrapping iced cakes
• Assembling boxes
• Maintaining Bakery high standards for product freshness and sanitation
• Absorbing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Able to work well with others in a team environment
• Reliable transportation
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent time-management skills
• Able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts and overtime as needed

Physical Demands

• Duties are primarily performed on the Bakery manufacturing floor.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift heavy items (up to 60 pounds) for an extended time
• Able to withstand different temperature zones…cooler, freezer and ambient
• Repetitive arm and hand movements and hand-squeezing for at least 85% of the work day
