Packager and Order Picker

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Picking parts for product assembly of custom doorknobs, cabinet handles, and other home décor hardware.
• Packaging doorknobs.
• Verifying product SKUs and quantities before packaging.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assembling boxes.
• Supporting general warehouse tasks such as cleaning, stocking, disposing of packaging waste, and other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Troubleshooting issues with inventory discrepancies.
• Communicating the needs of the department to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to use an Ipad to scan barcodes and keep track of orders.
• Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull carts weighing an excess of 100lbs and lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with business operating software.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Positive attitude, supportive of business initiatives, and active in training.
• Ability to work in hot & cold environments.
• Good math, reading, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience participating and contributing through involvement with teams.
• Able to work under the pressure of a high-volume production environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred but not necessary.

Skills

• Computer literacy, including proficiency with business operating software.

Pay

$19.50 - $22.25 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-Time, (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm.
