About the role
The packager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area.
Responsibilities
- Pack products in one of three major classifications: Foam, Coatings Mills or Coatings Reactors
- Label products before and after packaging as needed
- Setup packaging area for one of three major classifications
- Fill containers to specified weight and expected quality standards
- Properly label wash, leftover bulk or non-conforming material
- Prepare container closures by following proper procedures for crimping lids, torqueing bungs and tote caps, and utilizing seals and zip ties
- Prepare material by using nitrogen to flush away contaminants in head space
- Maintain and clean all equipment, pumps, tank scraping as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Able to pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation
- Clean shaven to meet work requirements
Additional Requirements
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators
