Package Sorter (Part-Time)

Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate at the delivery station prepares packages for delivery by receiving, sorting, building pallets, and transporting items. They operate technology to scan and organize shipments, load trucks, and stage deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and preparing packages for dispatch
• Using handheld devices for sorting and scanning
• Building and wrapping pallets
• Transporting packages and pallets
• Loading trucks for delivery

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Follow instructions in English
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach
• Use carts, dollies, and equipment
• Work around moving vehicles and in varying temperatures

Key Duties & Environment

• Work in climate-controlled or temperature-variable environments
• Operate moving equipment safely
• Maintain safety with protective gear and safety tips
• Physical activities include standing, walking, and climbing stairs
• Noise levels may be elevated, hearing protection provided
