About the Role

A Warehouse Associate at a delivery station is responsible for receiving, preparing, and organizing packages for delivery. The role involves loading conveyor belts, scanning and sorting packages using handheld devices, building pallets, and handling deliveries to ensure timely dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare packages for delivery
• Use technology to sort, scan, and organize orders
• Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages
• Manage truck deliveries of customer packages

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to follow instructions in English
• Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds
• Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Use of carts, hand trucks, and safety gear
• Comfort working in varying temperatures and environments with moving vehicles

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled spaces with temperatures between 60°F and 90°F
• Some noise; safety gear provided
• Activities may involve standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and operating moving equipment
• Dress code is casual, with safety footwear required in certain areas
