About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receiving of large quantities of packages.
  • Ensure all packages are organized in the appropriate package room throughout the day.
  • Accept packages, scan them into the system, label them with the appropriate apartment numbers, and organize them on shelves by apartment number.
  • Ensure packages are delivered to residents within a 24-hour period from when the package is scanned in.

Requirements

  • Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and be on your feet for the entire shift.
  • Prior experience in a distribution center and/or shipping and receiving is required.
  • Experience with inventory management systems required.
  • Familiarity with shipping carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) required.
  • This role may require a valid driver's license.

Pay

Typical base compensation range: $20.00 to $21.50 per hour USD.
