About the role
Package Handlers at Federal Express Corporation (FEC) are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages of various sizes in a fast-paced and physically demanding warehouse environment.Responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicles with packages of varying sizes.
- Sort packages according to destination and size.
- Ensure packages are properly packed and secured for transport.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license (part-time position).
Qualifications
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
