About the role
Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a warehouse setting. This role is part-time and flexible, with varying shift lengths based on package volume.Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages of various sizes from delivery vehicles.
- Sort packages according to destination and size.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
- Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills.
