About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with packages of various sizes.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer skills to input data and operate warehouse systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.

Pay

$17.55 to $18.55 per hour

Schedule

Part time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week. Shift Differential: $1.
