About the role
Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicles with packages of various sizes.
- Sort packages according to destination and size.
- Ensure packages are properly packed and secured for transport.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills to operate warehouse systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
