Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles, carts, and conveyors with packages of various sizes.
• Sort packages according to destination and sortation systems.
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license required (if applicable).
• Willingness to work in a warehouse setting.

Pay

The starting pay for Package Handlers is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

Part time employees typically work between 3 and 6 hours a day, while full time employees can work between 6 and 10 hours. Shifts may vary based on package volume and overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
