Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles
• Sort packages by destination and size
• Handle packages of various sizes and weights
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyors
• Ensure packages are properly labeled and addressed
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
• Previous experience with forklift operation is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay

Pay Range: $19.50/hr - $21.00/hr

Schedule

Part time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
