Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages within a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from vehicles and conveyors.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Handle packages of varying sizes and weights.
• Operate machinery and equipment used in warehouse operations.
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Experience with forklifts and other warehouse equipment is beneficial.

Pay

Schedule

Part time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.
