About the role
Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a warehouse setting. This role is part-time and flexible, with varying shift lengths based on package volume.Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from vehicles
- Sort packages according to destination and size
- Handle packages of various sizes and weights
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Physical stamina and endurance for standing and walking for extended periods
- Basic computer skills to operate warehouse systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (part-time employees)
Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Previous experience with forklift operation
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
