Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from vehicles and conveyors.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Ensure packages are properly packed and secured.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Previous experience with package handling and sorting systems.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

Pay

$18.75 - $19.25/hr

Schedule

Part-time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full-time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
