Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles using forklifts and manual labor.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Handle various sized packages safely and efficiently.
• Ensure packages are properly secured during transport.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
• Physical stamina and strength.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Valid driver’s license (part-time position only).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus.

Pay

Competitive wages starting at $18.80 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

Part-time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full-time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.
