Package Handler - Part Time

Role Overview: Responsible for safely loading, unloading, and sorting packages for feeder aircraft using hand-to-surface methods. Ensures efficient operation of equipment involved in moving packages, documents, and dangerous goods. Handles packages by lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling for shifts of several hours, working in a fast-paced environment.Uses scanning and labeling to determine correct conveyor systems and sorts packages accordingly.Follows all safety policies, maintains alertness, and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills No formal education required; prior experience preferred but not mandatory.Ability to understand instructions, discern numbers, and communicate effectively in English.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., walking, standing, bending, and maneuvering packages in confined spaces.Must complete required training and recertifications, including safety and security protocols. Working Conditions Work in varying temperatures and loud environments.
