Package Handler - Chicago North - Multiple shifts available

About the role

Pay: $18.75/hr
Shift: (2 Options)
Shift times: 4:00AM – 8:00AM or End of Sort (7 day availability)
or
Shift times: 6:00PM – 11:00PM or End of Sort (7 day availability)
Hours may vary based on business needs.
“End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking trailers and sorting packages by zip codes
• Loading trucks for deliveries
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Requirements

• Ability to stay on your feet while working
• Ability to work in varying temperatures in the warehouse
• Regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items weighing up to 75 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic English language proficiency for understanding safety and operational instructions

The Must-Haves

• Ability to stay on your feet while working
• Ability to work in the heat and the cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season
• Regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items averaging 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) required for understanding safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment
