Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required before providing patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
- Bachelor degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Music, Art, related Social Service field or Certified Occupational Therapists Assistant (COTA)
- 3 years of experience organizing and facilitating activities in a geriatric setting
- Experience in a Dementia or Alzheimer's Program
Pay
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The PACE/Senior World Activity Coordinator coordinates the therapeutic recreational adult day services program. The coordinator provides a comprehensive participant assessment to meet physical, mental and psychosocial well-being needs as well as person centered needs and interests. They plan, implement and facilitate activities for various cognitive functioning, physical limitations and persons with disabilities.
