PA or CRNP, Staff or Senior (Child Advocacy Center)

About the role

UPMC Harrisburg is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support their Child Advocacy Center.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with agencies conducting child abuse investigations including law enforcement, child protection, and the justice system.
• Provide medical evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents referred for suspected sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or other forms of child maltreatment.

Requirements

• Family practice or pediatric experience preferred.
• Primary location in Harrisburg, with coverage at Jonestown satellite office and Carlisle Office.
• Flexible schedule, including potential weekend and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• For PA: Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, current state PA license, and NCCPA certification.
• For CRNP: Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner program, current state RN license and CRNP certification, and eligibility for Pennsylvania board of nursing.
• For Senior Level: Minimum 3 years of experience or completion of a post-graduate residency.

Pay and Schedule

Salary commensurate with experience. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM, with potential for weekend and evening shifts.
