PA or CRNP (ACNP), Staff or Senior - HVI Vascular Surgery

About the role

The UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Vascular surgery team. Requirements

• For CRNP: Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program, BSN, MSN preferred; Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience preferred; Current state RN license and CRNP certification required; National certification, eligible for licensure by Pennsylvania board of nursing, eligible for certification as a CRNP by Pennsylvania state board of nursing; Current CPR certification required; Act 33, 73, and 34 clearances required.
• For PA: Graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the ARC-PA, BS or MS preferred; Experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting preferred; Current state PA license certified by NCCPA required; Current CPR certification required; Act 33, 73, and 34 clearances required.
• Senior Level: Minimum 3 years of experience or Completion of a post-graduate residency; Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or a graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the ARC-PA program; BSN, MSN preferred for CRNP, BS or MS preferred for PA; Completion of National Certification; Achieves a Solid/Strong/Good performance rating or higher on annual performance evaluation for consideration and to maintain status annually; Uses one of the certifications above or uses a business unit approved certification which is relevant and value-added to the practice setting.

Pay

Salary range for the Senior level which requires three (3) or more years of APP experience.

Schedule

4 10-hour shifts with rotating daylight, possible weekend rounding.
