Job Specifics
Primary clinical experience in general outpatient cardiology practices
Additional training in cardiology subspecialties
Experiences in rural and urban practices.
Travel required.
Monday- Friday, limited weekends and holidays

Compensation and Total Rewards Package
- Compensation range: $47.12 - $47.12
- Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Responsibilities
In accordance with professional standards of care and adhering to corporate philosophy of OSFMG, the advanced practice nurse/physician assistant shall be responsible for:
- Providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF.
- Providing such professional Advanced Practice services.
- Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided to the Practice and its patients.
- Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by Provider or other support staff.
- Exercising diligence in assisting the Ministry CEO in keeping costs of the Practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients.
- Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to patients of the Practice and the OSF Hospital aligned to the patient's preferences, goals and needs.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, the PA Fellow Cardiology performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in physician assistant studies (MPAS)
- Licensure/ Certification: Physician Assistant Certification. IL Physician Assistant License. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics.
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
