P3 Team Coordinator - 2nd Shift

About the Role

The Team Coordinator assists the supervisor in the operation of an area of a department, allowing the Supervisor to focus more on people management rather than daily workflow issues. This role is crucial for ensuring continuous production flow by addressing bottlenecks, managing resources, and facilitating Lean Manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Reduces production bottlenecks on the manufacturing product line.
• Addresses and corrects workflow issues.
• Learns all positions and fills in as needed.
• Identifies part and resource shortages and provides solutions.
• Communicates issues to Supervisors, Engineers, and Managers as appropriate.
• Facilitates the implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes.
• Requests non-personnel related assistance from other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance.
• Performs other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED.
• Minimal WorkKeys scores for the position.
• 4+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous lead position experience.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to lift between 50 and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Able to learn and work with all hand tools required for positions within the area, including general work tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, brazing and wiring tools, forklifts, etc.
• Able to effectively direct the flow of others.
• Able to foster teamwork and resolve conflict.
• Able to work long hours and a variety of shifts as needed.
• Able to learn and utilize materials tracking systems.

Environmental Demands:

• Ability to work in an environment with temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees.

Travel

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, depending on product line needs.
