Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Horizontal lift (Frequently) – 35# to lift a stack of 3 rails off the end waist-high conveyor belt.
• Low lift (Frequently) – 35# to lower and place the stack of rails in the storage bin.
• Torso twist, forward bend, and reach (Frequently) – During the process of moving the rails, the employee twists at the waist, bends, and reaches to slot the rails in the correct spot.
• Push/Pull (Occasionally) – 60# to move the full storage bins to the forklift pickup spot.
• Standing tolerance, vision, and hearing (Continuously).
