About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, professional, and flexible Physical Therapy Aide II to join our Inpatient Acute Care Therapy Team. Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under direct supervision of Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting.
• Assist with exercises, transfers, and mobility.
• Prepare therapy session equipment and organize therapy gym space.
• Gather mobility equipment, organize patient rooms for safety during mobility, and inspect mobility equipment.
• Clean equipment and ensure it is in good working condition; organize equipment inventory.
• Provide input to management on equipment replacement and additions as identified by need.
• Take on additional responsibilities for team scheduling, ordering, etc.
• Assist in patient mobility by participating in the hospital-wide Mobility Program.
• Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, actively participate in staff meetings, seek continual learning opportunities to advance knowledge, and share feedback to promote team growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior patient care or clinic support duties.

Pay

$22.46+ per hour
