P&S Operator (Hourly, Atchison KS)

What You Will Be Doing

• Learn to operate and remain current in the operations of the P&S plant, including, but not limited to, Mix, Merco, Modified Starch, Drum Drying and the P&S Drying operations.
• Mechanical skills required.
• Monitor and maintain equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Daily and weekly lubrications.
• Fill out reports and work orders.
• Maintain current license for trucks, bobcats, and forklifts.
• Handle hazardous chemicals.
• Climb and work in high places and/or from ladders, roofs, etc.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Work in dusty conditions: feed-grain dusts.
• Subjected to temperature extremes, both hot and cold, not only due to weather, but also due to Plant processes.
• Maintain sanitation level to meet AIB requirements.
• Operator is responsible for quality & quantity of product.
• Do quality checks as necessary.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to quality assurance.
• Operate in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
• Overtime as required.
• Shift and Days subject to change.
• Wear safety equipment as required including full face respirators, etc.
• Perform other duties assigned by management as required.
